2009 thru 2012 Gift Of Giving Food Drive

During the four consecutives the 2009 through 2010 Gift Of Giving Food Drive will collect over 100,000 pounds of food to launch our campaign to help support Gift Of Giving Feed The Hungry Program project, and We look forward to the possibility of your partnership in our cooperative efforts to help us collect over 100,000 pounds of food to support the one million needy individuals in Michigan that will seek food assistance.

Your donation will help feed many families in metropolitan Detroit, Michigan, including Wayne, Macomb and Oakland counties. The 2009 through 2012 Gift Of Giving Food Drive will collects food commodities, food products, perishable and nonperishable food products, frozen foods, non-alcoholic beverages and toiletries, which support The Gift Of Giving Feed The Hungry Program.

During these four years, our organization will be providing food boxes for over 10,000 economically disadvantaged families each month for the next three years. Without your support, these needy disadvantaged families will not have food to feed themselves or their children. In metropolitan Detroit, Michigan alone 93% of households lives at or below the poverty rate. Our goal is to provide food for these needy families and help eliminate hunger in America and southeastern Michigan.

Also any donations sent to us in March or April will get Feinstein money from Rhode Island added to it - and the more of a donation you send to us, the more of theFeinstein $1 million we'll get - thanks to you!

The campaign is collecting new coats and new boots to help clothe over 10,000 needy children, women, men residing in distressed communities throughout metropolitan Detroit, Michigan and other Wayne counties for the next four consecutives years of the campaign.

During the four year campaign the organization goal is to raise $200,000.00 and collect over 10,000 coats and boots to help clothe and shoes the needy throughout southeastern Michigan, including Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and Monroe counties. We will recruit at least 100 volunteers to help with the campaign.

The program will distribute new coats and new boots to needy children for back to school and/or during the holiday seasons. The program will serve Wayne, Macomb and Oakland counties. The program was implemented since 80% of households lives at or below the poverty rate in southeastern Michigan and other Wayne counties, and many of these children does not have a coat and/or boots to carry them through the winter months, so we seek your support in helping us to provide these needy children with a new coat and new boots for the winter months.

The program collects new coats & new boots for The Gift Of Giving New Job, New Suit Programs is a project implemented to give economically disadvantage homeless men the opportunity to dress for success while going on job interviews to obtain a job in order for them to become self-sufficient and self-reliant.. The program was designed to help low income men residing in homeless shelters throughout the communities of metropolitan Detroit, including Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties. The suits are being distributed to economically disadvantage men in homeless shelters, substance abuse centers and other transitional housing for men, who are seeking employment and need a suit to wear to their job interview.

Economically disadvantage men will benefit from the products that are being requested. The program served economically disadvantage men of all ages. The Program is targeted toward economically disadvantage homeless men on the road to recovery and resides in urban inner cities and rural areas.

The program also collects new coats & new boots for The New Suit, New Dress For Success program supports homeless single mothers residing in homeless shelters to help them dress for success, while going on a job interview, obtaining a job or attending college or a technical trade school to learn a skill or trade that will help them to start a professional career, which will help them to become self-sufficient and self-reliant.

Our program will provide them with a outfit that will help them to feel positive about themselves and feel secure in the new step they are about to take in their life, whether it is attending school, starting a new career, or going on a job interview to begin a new career. The program will make available a new suit or a new dress to the client in helping them through their transitional process.

2009 through 2012 New Clothes & New Shoe Drive collects lingerie, stockings, socks, panties, boxers, bras, bustiers, corsets, sleepwear, daywear, shorts, pants, shirts, blouses, skirts, scarf’s, suits, dresses, jeans, sweaters, coats, hats, gloves, jackets, ear muffs, athletic shoes, dress shoes and boots to help support this four year campaign.

Our campaign goal is to secure $100,000.00 funds to launch our campaign, we have recruited more than 100 volunteers, to help host clothing and shoes drive to collect new clothing and new shoes in order to provide new clothes and new shoes for the needy throughout southeastern Michigan. We will continue to seek volunteers and potential donors to give continue support of their time, money and expertise in this four year campaign.

The Gift Of Giving Recreation For Underprivileged Youth

The program mission is to give underprivileged and underserved children the opportunity to visit the zoo and learn about nature, animals and their existence, since 80% of household in Northern Toledo, Ohio, Lucas County, Ohio cities and other Ohio counties lives at or below the poverty-rate.

The Gift Of Giving Recreation For Underprivileged youth will give underprivileged youth the opportunity to visit the Zoo, who might otherwise never have the experience to learn about nature, animals and their inhabitants.

At least 69% of the homeless population is single mothers with children and 39% of the homeless population is single mother leaving out of domestic violence situations. 49% of the poverty-stricken in Northern Toledo, Ohio, Lucas County, Ohio cities and other Ohio counties is children. Without your support these needy children will not have toys for Christmas Day. We need your assistance and support in providing a visit to the Zoo to children who might otherwise never have the experience.

The program will provide recreation for other underprivileged children residing in homeless shelters in Northern Toledo, Ohio, Lucas County, Ohio cities and other Ohio counties. The program will give low-income daycare centers, head start programs, and Afterschool programs, which supervise low-income children residing at their facilities with the opportunity to visit the zoo.
